Reilly Traveling Circus

The journey is underway. We arrived in Seoul at around 4 am local time. Downtown Seoul is about an hour from the airport. After an outstanding breakfast highlighted by Korean food, down time to acclimate to the time change followed by a tour that started at 1:30 pm local time. We took in the UNESCO Heritage site of the Secret Garden of the Second Royal Palace, followed by a visit to a Buddhist Temple and a walk through the shopping area. Weekends in Korea apparently feature political demonstrations and we encountered a number on our travels through the city. Perhaps the most surprising thing about our tour was seeing the 24 hour convenience store that had an array of robots that made coffee, assembled and baked pizzas and made ice cream cones. Another tour scheduled for Sunday.
